The heart of Camp is the Cabin Leader (CL)! Campers see the reality of Jesus’ love through you! As a CL, you develop relationships with campers that can last a lifetime.
Our horse ministry & petting farm are a camper favorite! As an Assistant Horse Wrangler, you have the joy and honor of teaching youth the Gospel through horsemanship while caring for the horses and farm animals.
As a Lifeguard, you ensure camper safety while participating in water activities. When not in the water, you are an active part of camp life – connecting with cabins and participating in programming. Note: Lifeguards must have current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certifications.
Camp can’t happen without our amazing Housekeeping Staff! If you enjoy cleaning and organizing while also experiencing the joys of Camp life & community, you will love this job!
Archery, crafts, go-carts, rifles, rock wall, zipline and more… All in a days work for the the Activities Specialist! Spend your summer leading and teaching activities while sharing the love of Christ at Camp!
Camp Beechpoint is known for our amazing food & large portions! As the Kitchen Assistant you will work closely with our Camp Chef to ensure that everyone is well fed so that they can focus on Jesus and fun – not their next meal.
Every day will be an adventure for the Grounds & Maintenance Team! If you enjoy being outside, mowing lawns, and fixing things while also experiencing the joys of Camp life & community, you will love this job!
Everyone loves the Camp Multimedia Specialist! Use your gift of creativity to capture photos & create day-in-review videos, while running the sound & powerpoint during Chapel. Pump up your resume while enjoying a meaningful summer at Camp!
Our Leaders in Training (LIT) are such an important part of Camp! As the LIT Cabin Leader, you will get to walk alongside these amazing teenagers as they serve and grow their faith.
Have you served at Beechpoint for 2+ years? If so, serving as a Unit Leader may be for you! As a part of the Lead Team, you will organize and lead within a specified unit of camp. Note: Unit Leaders have typically had two years of experience with our program and are 21+yo.
Get great hands on experience under the supervision of our Camp Doctor and Volunteer RNs! As the Camp Health Officer, you will check in campers, assist with camper medical care, and maintain the health center. You will receive paid training and certifications in Red Cross Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
Our Volunteer Camp Nurse(s) serve as the hands & feet of Jesus, caring for the medical care of campers, including but not limited to daily medication distribution, routine first aid, record keeping, and first responder responsibilities.
RN or licensed prescriber preferred. Camp Nurses serve for 1+ weeks over the summer.
Requirements
To work at Camp Beechpoint, you must:
– be 18+ years old
– have a committed and growing relationship with Jesus
– be willing to be led and follow instructions
– enjoy and work well with children
– conduct yourself in a way which will exemplify Christ and further the ministry of Beechpoint
– fulfill regulations regarding lights out, automobiles, limited cell phone use, and neatness of dress
– not use tobacco, alcohol, and non-prescription drugs during your time of service
